We hear it in church all the time... "Who the Son sets free is free indeed!"

It sounds powerful. It sounds encouraging. It sounds like something worth shouting about! But what does it actually mean? Free from what? Free how? And if Jesus has set me free... why do I still struggle with some of the same old things? This weekend, we're continuing our CHURCH WORDS series and unpacking what Jesus meant when He said: "So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free." — John 8:36 Jesus didn't come just to forgive your old life—He came to free you from its ownership. Because of the finished work of the cross and the victory of the empty tomb, sin doesn't get the final word over your life anymore.
