Mike & Jen Dyer
Lead Pastors
Mike and Jen met and were married in Santa Maria, CA, in December of 1996. They were just 21 years old and knew God had a calling for ministry in their lives. After the birth of their first child, Caitlin, they moved to Lompoc, CA, to serve as youth pastors for nine years at Lompoc Foursquare Church. During this time, they had two other children, Seth and Abigail, and saw tremendous growth in several of the ministries they oversaw, which greatly impacted many people's lives.
After much prayer, Mike and Jen sensed another assignment for them, and both accepted a position on staff at New Life Church in Bakersfield, CA. Here, Mike and Jen oversaw several areas of ministry and grew not only in their leadership but also in the value of transparent leadership. A major contribution of Jen's role was in utilizing her administrative gifts by serving as executive assistant to the senior pastor. Mike served in many capacities, including youth ministry, college/young adults ministry, and video/media. After serving on staff for almost seven years, they felt the Lord call them to become lead pastors.
The opportunity arose to come to Ukiah and lead The River. Since July 2013, the Dyer family has been impacting the community of Ukiah and fulfilling the call to REACH the lost. REFRESH the weary and RESTORE the broken all for the Glory of Jesus!
