Burdened By Bitterness

Bitterness is a trap that the enemy wants each of us to fall into. His plan is for you to remain angry, hold grudges, and keep distance between you and others. God's plan is for you to release others by extending grace and forgiveness to those who have hurt or wronged you. Forgiveness takes work!

In Luke 11:4 Jesus says “FORGIVE OUR SINS, AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO SIN AGAINST US.”

God calls us to be forgiving as he is forgiving/merciful, and if we aren’t careful, we could find ourselves being burdened by bitterness and anger towards those who wrong us.

Philippians 4:4 - “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again, Rejoice!”

We are called, as His children & His Church to be full of joy and love. Come hear about what happens when we choose to be quick to forgive! We overflow and run on the joy of the Lord!
