Celebrate Recovery Weekend

This weekend we highlighted the heart behind Celebrate Recovery, a powerful new ministry launching at The River on January 8. Pastor Mike shared a message titled “Freedom Is for Everyone,” reminding us that Jesus didn’t come to set some people free—He came to set all people free. No matter your story, background, habit, hurt, or hang-up, God’s healing grace is available to you. Drawing from passages like John 8:36 (“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free”), we were encouraged to see freedom not as a distant idea but as a real, accessible work of God in our lives today. Pastor Mike emphasized that transformation happens when we stop hiding, step into community, and allow God to work deeply within us.
