No More Obstacles!

In this series, we will look at stories of how people in scripture would go to any length necessary to get to Jesus. In life, we all have obstacles that will keep us from receiving all God has for us. These obstacles can come in various forms, yet all of them can cause us to walk in doubt, hopelessness, anxiety, and fear.

Jesus not only has the power to heal but also the willingness. We need to “Tear off the Roof” or, in other words, remove and eliminate anything that stands in the way between us and Jesus. We must become people who will do whatever it takes to bring our needs to Jesus, who loves us, cares for us, and still works miracles in our lives.

Luke 5:18-19 NLT says, “Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to take him inside to Jesus, But they couldn’t reach him because of the crowd. So they went up to the roof and took off some tiles. Then they lowered the sick man on his mat down into the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

These guys would not allow any obstacle to keep them from getting their friend to Jesus! What roof do you need to tear off to get to Jesus?
